Abstract
An indium-mediated Barbier type mono-allylation of 1,5-dicarbonyl compounds and a subsequent acid-catalyzed dehydrative cyclization afforded 2,3-dihydro-4H-pyran-4-ones and 3,4-dihydro-2H-[1,4]oxazines.
