- 본 발명은 콩잎 추출물 또는 이의 분획물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 비만, 고지혈증, 동맥경화, 지방간, 당뇨 또는 대사증후군의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 콩잎을 물, 유기용매 또는 이의 혼합용매로 추출한 콩잎 추출물 또는 이의 유기용매 분획물은 콜레스테롤 아실 전이효소(ACAT)의 활성 및 지질단백질-결합 포스포리파아제 A2(Lp-PLA2)의 활성을 효과적으로 억제하고, 고지방식이에 의한 체지방 크기 증가를 억제하고, 혈중 및 간의 콜레스테롤 및 중성지방 증가를 억제하며, 대동맥동의 병변크기 및 동맥 병변에 대식세포의 침착을 억제하고, 비만, 동맥경화와 관련되는 유전자의 발현을 조절할 수 있으므로, 이와 관련되는 비만, 고지혈증, 동맥경화, 지방간, 당뇨 또는 대사증후군의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
