dc.description.abstract6π-Electrocyclization of conjugated trienes derived in-situ from the Morita-Baylis-Hillman carbonates of N-methylisatins afforded dispirocyclohexadiene bisoxindoles in good yields. Two stereoisomers (cis and trans) were formed in almost equal amounts.-
