dc.description.abstract | Cell-based immunotherapy for cancer is emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional small-molecule or antibody-based treatment. Due to the characteristics of cell-based therapy, validation of test materials before in vivo administration is required. Here we describe general validation steps for preclinical evaluation of cell-based immunotherapy. We also describe a xenograft model of human colorectal cancer.
