dc.description.abstractCell-based immunotherapy for cancer is emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional small-molecule or antibody-based treatment. Due to the characteristics of cell-based therapy, validation of test materials before in vivo administration is required. Here we describe general validation steps for preclinical evaluation of cell-based immunotherapy. We also describe a xenograft model of human colorectal cancer. This model can be used for applied to preclinical evaluation of various cell-based therapy regimens for colorectal cancer treatment-
