- 본 발명의 락토바실러스 루테리 OH0335 균주는 글리세롤을 루테린으로 전환할 수 있는 능력이 매우 우수한 점을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 루테린 고생산 유산균 락토바실러스 루테리 OH0335 균주는 인체에 안전한 균주(GRAS, Generally Recognized As Safe)인 유산균의 일종으로, 이를 이용하여 폐글리세롤을 루테린 생산에 활용한다면 기존의 GMO 균주와 달리 안전하면서 환경적인 측면이나, 자원의 재순환 활용이라는 이점을 제공할 수 있어 관련 산업에 매우 유용하다.
