| dc.description.abstract | 본 발명은 척수성 근위축증 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 SMN2의 스플라이싱 결함을 교정하여 SMN 단백질의 발현을 증가시켜 척수성 근위축증 예방 또는 치료 효과를 나타내는 화합물의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 화학식 1로 표현되는 리고세르팁은 SMN2 pre-mRNA의 스플라이싱 결함을 교정하는 효과를 나타내어 SMN 단백질의 발현을 증가시키며, 질병과 관련된 비정상적인 병변을 개선하는 효과를 나타내어 척수성 근위축증을 비롯한 신경근육질환 치료제 개발에 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. | - |
