- 본 발명은 PTP4A1 단백질, 또는 상기 PTP4A1 단백질을 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드를 포함하는, 인슐린 저항성 또는 지방간의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, PTP4A1 단백질을 과발현시킴으로써, 인슐린 저항성이 개선되고, 지방간 생성이 억제되는 효과가 있으므로 본 발명의 PTP4A1 단백질을 대사증후군 분야에서 치료제로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
