Abstract
The spleen cells obtained after immunization of human hepatoma plasma membrane surface proteins were fused with SP2/0 myceloma cells. Among 192 wells, 153 positive growing wells (3.1 X IO?6 fusion probability per myeloma cell) were obtained and the productivity of the antibody against the diethylnitrosamine-induced rat hepatoma specific antigen (65 kDa) was 15.6%. After primary and secondary cloning, three positive hybridoma cell lines were established. These monoclonal antibodies show an immuno-reactivity against the 65-kDa proteins of human liver and diethylnitrosamine-induced rat hepatoma plasma membrane surface proteins.
