- 본 발명은 당근 유래 LCYB2 단백질 변이체 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 LCYB2 변이체는 카로틴 합성을 억제하여 라이코펜 함량을 증가시킬 수 있으므로, 본 발명의 LCYB2 변이체를 활용하여 라이코펜 함량이 증진된 고품질의 식물체를 개발하여 기능성 식품, 화장품, 사료 등의 소재로 다양하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
