Analysis of recent research trends in probiotics through literature study: focusing on Lactobacillus = 문헌 연구를 통한 프로바이오틱스의 최근 연구동향 분석 : Lactobacillus 중심으로

Abstract

Lactobacillus is an industrially and scientifically important resource, but information analyzing recent research trends on it is lack. The purpose of this study analysis is to analyze research trends in papers related to Lactobacillus , a representative beneficial bacterium of probiotics. This study selected papers related to "Lactobacillus " index in PubMed of the National Center for Biotechnology Information as the subject of analysis, and collect a total of 16,478 papers during the last 5 years(from 2017 to June 2022). We performs the analysis by year, country, institution, journal, species and thesis keyword analysis on the current situation of recent research papers in the Lactobacillus study. The research results are expected to be used for research using probiotics or for selection of industrial fields, and Lactobacillus species selection. 락토바실러스는 경제 · 산업적, 과학 · 기술적으로 중요한 자원이나, 그에 대한 최근 연구동향을 분석한 정보가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 프로바이오틱스에 포함되는 미생물 중 다수를 차지하는 락토바실러스에 대한 최근 5년 논문의 경향을 분석하였다. National Center for Biotechnology Information의 PubMed에 색인된 락토바실러스 관련 논문을 분석 대상으로 16,478편을 수집하였고, 연도별, 국가별, 기관별, 학술지별, 균종별 그리고 키워드를 분석하였다. 논문은 2020년까지 지속적으로 증가한 후 2021년에 정체되었으며, 국가별로 보면 중국, 미국, 한국이 상위 3개국으로 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 기관별로는 대학에서, 학술지별은 미생물과 식품분야에서 많이 발표되고 있으며, 균종별은 Lactobacillus plantarum, L. rhamnosus, L. acidophilus 순서로 많이 나타났다. 키워드 분석에서는 ‘락토바실러스’, ‘장내미생물총’, ‘프로바이오틱스’, ‘효과’가 많은 빈도순으로 나타났고, 5개 군집을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 프로바이오틱스를 활용할 연구 및 산업 분야의 결정, 락토바실러스 종 선별 등에 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
