- Abstract
- Genetically engineered bioproducts including anti-cancer drugs should be examined in the aspect of the efficacy and safety evaluation before the practical use. In worldwide, efficacy evaluation could be done using the tumor cell lines with the advantage of easy evaluation of the results. This study was carried out to investigate the antitumor activity of recombinant lymphotoxin (LT) in vivo. L929 cell line was implantated to BALB/C-nuKIST mouse and double dose of LT was given to intraperitoneally for 10 days. After 6 weeks, LT treated group was dearly decreased tumor formation than non treated control group. Non treated control group showed highly motality(80%) than LT treated group. As a result LT had a antitumor activity that inhibited metastasis and growth.
