- 본 발명은 고구마 덩이뿌리의 저온 저장성 및 오메가-3 지방산의 함량을 증가시키는 고구마 유래 IbFAD8 (Ipomoea batatas Fatty acid desaturase 8) 유전자 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, IbFAD8 유전자를 이용하여 조건 불리지역에서의 환경 스트레스 내성 및 저온 저장능력 향상으로 고구마의 저장성 개선과 고혈압, 심혈관 질병에 효과적인 리놀렌산 고함량 고구마를 개발하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
