dc.description.abstract | Two new benzylated dihydroflavonols, gerticudranins D [1] and E [2], were isolated from the stem bark of Cudrannia tricuspidata, and were identified as 5,7,A'-trihydroxy-6,8-di-p-hydroxybenzyldihydroflavonol and 5,7,A'- trihydroxy-6-p-hydroxybenzyldihydroflavonol, respectively. These compounds were shown to be significantly cytotoxic to human tumor cell lines in culture such as CRL 1579 (skin), LOX-IMV1 (skin), MOLT-1F (leukemia), KM12 (colon), and UO-31 (renal). | - |
