dc.description.abstract | Differential screening of the cDNA bank constructed from poly(A+) RNA of heat-shocked tobacco plants at 39 ˚C produced three cDNA clones named pTHS1, pTHS3 and pTHS4. The genes represented by the cDNA clones showed heat shock responsed and the sized of the transcripts proprer for geat shock responses of the genes correspongind to the cDNA clones at transcript level suggested that autodownregulation of transcription in heat shock gene expression can be specific and there is a temperature range where new rounds of heat shoci response can operate without a recovery period. | - |
