- Abstract
- The pollen collecting activites of honeybee(Apis mellifera ligustica) were observed at Taejon, Korea, late in the spring in 1994. The pollens colleted by honeybee were analyzed by colors and shapes using scanning electron microscope. The amount of pollens collected by honeybee hs the peak in the middle part of May. The 3 species of plants have major of the total pollens. Those were Amorpha fruticosa, Castanea crenata Erigeron annus, in the early, middle, and late June, respectively. The collected pollem periods were varied between 1 and 20 days, while that of Castana crenata has been continulusly colected during June.
