dc.description.abstractTwo new guaiane-type sesquiterpene lactones (1) and (2) together with 8-hydroxyzaluzanin C (3) were isolated from the flower of Hemisteptia lyrata. Compounds (1-3) were examined for their cytotoxic activity against LOX-IMVI, MCF-7, PC-3 and HCT-15 human cell line.-
