Abstract
The growth and C fixation of Spirulina platensis were investigated with ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, and urea as the N source in a batch culture. The nitrate group produced a higher dry weight yield, while the nitrite group contained more intracellular C. Finally, when considering the efficiency of C fixation, the culture should be harvested from day 6-10.
