Nanobiotechnology has attracted increasing interest during the last 10 years. Particularly in the fields of medicine, drug discovery, and pharmacology, this area of research has opened up new perspectives in analytics and therapy. Nanobiotechnology is a typical interdisciplinary field of research, and is based on the cooperative work of biologists, chemists, physicists, engineers, and medical doctors. This review article describes recent research and development of nanobiotechnology including nanobioanalysis, nanobiochip/sensor and nanobiomaterials.-
