dc.description.abstractAgastaquinone is a tricyclic diterpenoid isolated from Agastache rugose. The first total synthesis of agastaquinone was accomplished based on intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation of aryl lactone followed by aromatization leading to the tricyclic phenol core structure as a key step.-
