dc.description.abstractCompound CBR004 which inhibits Ras farnesyl protein transferase, was produced by Bacillus licheniformis KCTC0372BP. Potassium phosphate and Tryptone were selected as media components for the production of CBR004 among 6 culture-variables using Plackett-Burman design. The yield of CBR004 was 0.99 g/l in a stirred fermenter at the C/N ratio of 1.87.-
